Q: Will the instructor pick up from home, or do we need to meet somewhere?
A: Yes, we offer home pick-up. We can also provide drop-off at school or work after the lesson, or pick up from those locations and drop your child home, as long as it’s within our local catchment area.

Q: How can I pay for the driving lessons?
A: You can pay your instructor directly by cash or card at the end of the driving lesson. Please note that there may be a surcharge for using a card, depending on the card type.

Q: Can I sit in the car during my child’s driving lesson?
A: Yes, we encourage those involved in the student’s learning, such as parents, to join the lesson. You’re welcome to take notes and ask questions, as we believe working together helps ensure the student learns best practices and becomes a safe, competent driver.

Q: How will driving lessons be recorded in the logbook?
A: At the beginning of the first lesson, the instructor will add themselves as a new supervisor and the vehicle being used into the logbook. After that, they will continue to update the app at each lesson to ensure all hours are recorded.

Q: What does my child need to bring to the lesson?
A: Your child needs to bring their learner’s licence and phone (with the logbook app installed) to each lesson. They can also bring a bottle of water if they wish.

Q: How can I book future lessons?
A: Future lessons can be booked directly with the instructor at the end of their lesson. Alternatively, you can rebook online through our booking system or by calling or texting us at 0499 355 444.

Q: How do I reschedule or cancel a lesson?
A: You can reschedule or cancel a lesson by calling or texting us at 0499 355 444 during work hours or through our online booking system. We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. This allows us to offer the space to other students on our cancellation list who are waiting for an opening at popular times.

Q: What happens if it’s raining or the weather is bad on the day of the lesson?
A: Lessons typically continue in all weather conditions, as driving in different conditions is important for learning. However, if the weather is deemed unsafe, we will reschedule at no additional cost.

Q: What qualifications do your instructors have?
A: Our instructors are fully licensed, accredited, and have extensive experience working with a diverse range of learners, including those who are anxious, have ADHD, or are autistic. They’re committed to creating a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment. Additionally, they are qualified defensive driving instructors and have previous experience as driving examiners, ensuring they provide top-level training.

Q: How many lessons will my child need before they are ready for the test?
A: The number of lessons varies based on individual progress. We assess each student’s skills and recommend the right amount of practice to help them feel confident and prepared. An estimate can be established on completion of the first lesson. 

Q: What if I can’t book the day or time that I need?
A: If your preferred booking time isn’t available, you can call or text us at 0499 355 444, and we’ll add you to our cancellation list. Please provide your desired dates and times, and if a spot becomes available, we will notify you. You’re not obligated to accept the offer—it’s simply an opportunity for you. If you choose to decline, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the slot to the next person on the list.

Q: What happens after I complete my booking?
A: Once your booking is complete, you will receive an email confirmation. This email will include links to your booking and details on how to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
